Our Approach

  • We have dedicated substantial funds to help meet Karachi’s key social sector needs. However, in a few years we aim to leverage this funding to enhance the quality of life of citizens’ throughout the country.
  • We aim to operate as a distinctive social sector organisation with best available talent, knowledge and resources. In order to gauge ourselves against the highest global standards, we intend to use as a benchmark, the positive impact our initiatives have had on our beneficiaries’ quality of life.
  • We will make our first investments where capital requirements restrain existing players. However, to avoid duplication of efforts where quality initiatives previously exist, we will support other effective players.
  • We will interface with, and create a network of international philanthropist and social sector players, so that global best practices are applied not only in our focus areas but to Pakistan as a whole.
  • We will, as a learning organisation, seek to educate ourselves and work with other social sector players to realise our vision.
